Thoughts from a guy trying to embrace mystery and the myriad of emotions that make up this messy and beautiful thing called life.

Perhaps it doesn't matter so much what anyone else thinks about you - this is insecurity. Perhaps it doesn't even matter what you think about yourself - this can often be ego. Maybe all that matters is that after you've lived a lot, cried a lot, and laughed a lot, you continually forgive. And once you've done that, when you tap open what on the outside looks like a worn, battered, beaten, and sorry-looking heart, all you find there is love. An inexhaustible storehouse of radiant, overwhelming love. And it's when you tap into this and commit to having that love pour out into every corner of your life, even the darkest corner, that's when you really start to live. Here we can begin again.
